SPOTLIGHT - The Parisian Supremacy (2)

You can read the first part of the review of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week F/W 2014-2015 here

Elie Saab. It puzzles me how this Lebanese-born designer possesses the ability to create countless collections defined by the exact same coordinates: diaphanousness, embellishments and sumptuousness. Guarded by otherworldly chandeliers, the dresses contoured an authentic fairytale whose leading role we all dream to enact.

Alexandre Vauthier. This collection was on fire. Literally. The French designer proposed a rock approach and shook the Haute Couture conventions just a tiny bit. The common denominators of this incredible collection would most probably be drapes and cut-outs, which added a dose of sexiness.

Zuhair Murad. The "Save the best for last" saying applies perfectly to this case. Even though the debut of this collection was marked by black and white pieces, a series of dreamy creations in intense colors followed. What is also noteworthy is the fact that the waist is well-determined in each and every one of the designs. I would say that we will soon witness the proclamation of the new king of Haute Couture.
